Grasse Acres Monroe

 

 

Monroe has always been the sweet silent type. Shes not overly friendly to most people but she will come up to see how you are doing and get her licks in. She was picked out by my late mother and for that reason I think my obsession with black and white goats started. Shes very smart, knows how to get into the best feeding position and definately is not willing to give that up. She stands like a rock and only moves when she wants to; even when our largest nubian trys to push her around.

 

Monroe has a very wide even compact udder. Her teats are well placed and she has nice wide orfices. She is a breeze to milk. Producing just over 2 pounds a day.
